Dataone Quick Usage Finder (DQUF) is a freeware utility to quickly find the bandwidth usage for BSNL's broadband service Dataone. It also takes care of scheduled dialup connection and disconnection for Night Unlimited plans.

• Old months logs do work with old tariff and bandwidth limits
• Dialup Connection and disconnection scheduler for Night Unlimited Plans
  (Its always safe and better to do this or you'll have problems since BSNL's bill is based on the time
  you started the connection and your night unlimited will have no benefit.)
• Auto detect Plan and usage limit according to the actual plan subscribed which minimizes user input.
• The last updated date and time is same as the last record found on bsnl site, so you can be cautious on the usage, if BSNL site is not updated.
  

Requirements
DQUF (Dataone Quick Usage Finder ) was designed for and tested on Windows XP Professional SP2 with IE6/7. It should work without problems on all versions of Windows XP and Windows 2000 with IE6 or IE7.

It may not work on Windows 9X and Windows ME.
To take full advantage Dataone QUF, use dialup using pppoe instead of a bridged connection. (I'll try to elaborate the difference in another article)

Installation

Run the installation program DQUFSetup_0.7.0.0.exe or the later version available.

What the installation program does

1)Copy DQUF.exe,readme.txt,website.url and uninstall files to install folder.
2)Create shortcuts for the exe in startmenu,quicklaunch and desktop based on install selection
3)On running the program, DQUF.ini is created in the executable folder which contains the settings.
If run on startup is enabled, an entry is made in the registry under the section
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\DataOneQUF.exe
