The short, "Life so far..." Well, that's long enough :-)
Well, I am Sunish Issac (both names have different spellings, like suneesh and Isac), born on January 2nd (Jan 1st + 45 minutes) in a place called Kanjirapally in Kottayam District in Kerala. My house is at a place called Perambra, near to Calicut (now known as Kozhikode) - the landing place of Vasco Da Gama in India.
I did my KG classes in Ajay Kindergarten Perambra and then went to Yercaud (a tourists Paradise) in Tamil Nadu where I studied till 2nd standard. Other than the school's name which was Rocca Borromeo I don't remember much of those old days. I was back in Kerala and did my 3rd and 4th in St. Joseph's English medium school located at Kanjirapally. Then ... it was a girls only school so I had to quit. From then on, that is from 5th till 10th I was fortunate to study in one school and that's Girideepam Bethany English High School in Kottayam. Those, I think were the days that taught me lot. Had some good friends, did lots of naughty things in the boarding school and did lots of scientific experiments.
After school, I did pre-Degree in St.Joseph's College, Devagiri, Calicut. I belonged to the Biology group that's so called second group and studied for one more year in Trichur (Prof. PC Thomas' entrace coaching and Mr. Ajith Kumar Raja math tution) to study 2 years' maths in one year and get qualified for engineering. I have done my Bachelors' degree in Electronics and Communication (B. E.) from K. V. G. College of Engg. (KVGCE), Sullia, Karnataka.
I took MCSE and did some freelance software and web work after the course. In 1999 April I went to United Arab Emirates (UAE). I was working in a company called Telematics till January 31st 2001. After which I resigned to join my own company Esquire Software Solutions which was being run by my business partner who used to look after the sales and marketing stuff and myself the tech stuff. While I was in India in 2004 May my father passed away, a day before fixing my marriage.
Life's entirely different after that. I was not directly involved in our family business, neither in the cinema business or the coconut oil business. I looked at it with a different perspective. With a huge debt of around 35 lakhs and no prior experience, I took up the challenge of continuing the business. I couldn't talk about the debts publicly at that point of time. Even close relatives and friends didn't know about the debt. Maybe I'll write a detailed blog on how I was able to tackle the situation with God's grace, lots of financial discipline and help from those around me. Yes there was a lot of good will around the businesses and my Dad. Malabar Oil Mills, our coconut oil mill is 41 years old and Varsha Theatre 28 years old.
Currently, I manage these two businesses, maintain this site, my blog and site on Just Another Language(JAL). I do develop software and provide two of them for free, ie Jaledit and Dataone Quick Usage Finder(DQUF). Whenever I have time I work on many electronic circuits. Electronics was my first love and software development my passion. I believe in simplicity in design and look for simple solutions that gives control and saves time and money. I also do a bit of consulting for my friends' company, Acrodelon. I also provide ideas and guidance for engineering college projects in the field of electronics and software.
Now for the very detailed... in between details of the "Life so far", my interests & passions, friends & family, life philosophy, view points.. people and books that have influenced me and what not... I'll surely write.. but don't ask me when you'll find the link soon if not sooner..May be I'll write an autobiography..
